URI110 USB Radio Interface kit, excluding enclosure.

- 2 x DIP Switches
- 2 x Opto Isolators
- 1 x 3.5mm Jack Socket
- 4 LEDs for front panel status are soldered on the board in a vertical orientation.

You need to solder the 3.5mm through-hole jack, SMD Dip Switches and Opto Isolators onto the board to complete the assembly.
Does not include 58x50x24mm Extruded Aluminum Enclosure, so you can incorporate this into projects or source your own case (it is standard, just search for “58x50x24mm Extruded Aluminum Enclosure” ).
A low-cost high-performance, USB Radio Interface using the popular CM108 sound IC, for use with portable radios.
a 2.5mm and 3.5mm socket are provided for a direct connection to hand-held radios using the standard K type connector.
Use of the CM108 sound processor provides native support for Allstarlink and Echolink etc.
Also works with HTs that can provide bias COS for use with Baofeng etc. On Baofeng radios (specifically models like the UV-5R, UV-82, and 888s), a DC bias voltage exists on the speaker output line (3.5mm jack), which can be utilized for a Carrier Operated Switch (COS) or Carrier Operated Relay (COR) to trigger external equipment, such as an AllStar node or repeater controller, without opening the radio.
When using mobile radios with flat “9600” audio out, ASL3 does squelch and CTCSS detection thus no COS line is needed.
These URIs provide the most comprehensive RFI/EMI filtering available, with separated USB/Digital/Analog grounds and power, ferrite beads and bypass caps on all radio I/Os, optocouplers on PTT & COS lines, and a 10Ω–200μF RC filter on the 5V Analog supply.
